Days & Hours

YOUNGMOVEMINTS is open Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:30pm

Center Closings

We are closed all National Holidays and follow St. Mary's County Public School closings for inclement weather.

Nutrition

YOUNGMOVEMINTS provides two nutritious snacks a day (morning & afternoon) consisting of a bread or grain, and fruit or vegetable. Parents are responsible to provide breakfast and lunch. Snack menus are posted in every classroom. Parents with infants will need to supply all formula or mom’s milk, and baby food.  All meal's will be reported in your child’s daily log.

Allergies

If your child has a special nutritional need or requires an adaption to our menu, we will work with your family to create a plan that meets your child's needs.

Open Door Policy

Parents are welcomed to come by anytime to see their child. We encourage parents to keep in mind that most young children are use to a routine and seeing their parents might make them think it’s time to go home. Please be mindful that this can upset or make your child sad when you leave without them.

Communication

Cooperation and trust between the parents and the center is central to the well-being of the child. Communication is a key component to this relationship. When we accept a new family into our center, we hope that we can share openly any concerns or questions that may arise. It is important that there is similar child care philosophy between us. We welcome questions, feedback or discussions of any kind that are oriented towards a positive outcome.
